2012 GIRLS ICE HOCKEY SUMMER CAMP

OVERNIGHT CAMP

Overnight Camper Fee: $738.00

Day Camper Fee: $638.00
Fee includes instruction, meals, room (overnight campers), hockey jersey, and lanyard.

The 14th Annual Princeton University Girls Ice Hockey Camp is geared for competitive players ages 10-18 whose aspiration is to play hockey at the collegiate level. This camp is extremely fast-paced, challenging and will feature 20 hours of ice time.

The camp will be broken down into two age groups; 10-13 and 14-18. Morning sessions will focus on the fundamentals of power-skating. Players will learn proper body position, edge control, how to lengthen their stride, crossover forward and backward as well as backward thrust techniques. The afternoon and evening sessions will consist of skill development and team play. Players will learn all aspects of team play and will develop skills through collegiate style practices.

In addition, players will workout with the Princeton University Strength and Conditioning Coach once per day, Monday through Wednesday of the camp.

FACILITIES
The camp will be held on the Princeton University campus, one of the most beautiful and historic campuses in the world. Our facilities include the Hobey Baker Memorial Rink, one of the finest skating facilities in the nation. In addition, campers will utilize Dillon Gym as well as numerous grass fields surrounding Baker rink for dry land and cross-training sessions. Campers will reside in Princeton University dormitories and dine in one of the school's dining halls. All dormitories will have adult supervision.

**Camp dorms do not have air conditioning. We recommend you bring a fan with you to camp.**

REQUIRED FORMS
Each participant is required to submit a Parental Release & Health Form at check-in. Mailed or faxed copies will not be accepted. If you are attending multiple camps, you must submit a copy at each check-in. These forms must be filled out in their entirety, including a physician's signature on the Health Form. A Sports Physical may be substituted for the Health Form provided it is dated within 12 months of the camp start date and has a physician's signature. Without these forms you will not be allowed to participate in camp.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
All campers must provide their own equipment. Please make sure you have these items prior to your arrival as we do not have equipment to rent or borrow.

Helmet, Skates, Shin Pads, Protective Jill, Hockey Pants, Hockey Socks, Elbow Pads, Shoulder Pads, Hockey Gloves, Hockey Stick

Goalies must have a full set of equipment that includes: Helmet, Throat Protector, Chest Protector, Glove, Blocker, Goalie Stick, Protective Jill, Goalie Pants, Leg Pads, Hockey Socks, Skates

CAMP STAFF
Princeton Women's Ice Hockey Head Coach, Jeff Kampersal will not be at camp this summer due to a commitment with the USA Hockey U18 Team. Assistant Coach Cara Morey will serve as the Camp Director and oversee all activities.

Nicole Uliasz, Head Coach at the Lawrenceville School, will oversee the morning power-skating sessions.
