2012 FIELD HOCKEY SUMMER CAMPS

ELITE CAMP (Individuals and Teams Welcome)
Ages: 12-18
Check-In: July 15, 2012 @ 11:00am

Day Camper Fee: $495.00

The Elite Camp is designed for the serious athlete who has aspirations to play at the collegiate level. We will divide the athletes based on age and experience level. Individual skill will be developed during the morning sessions, while afternoon and evening sessions will be devoted to team tactics and team building. The home of the 6th ranked Tiger Field Hockey Team is being renovated, so all athletes will play at Finney/Campbell, a premiere field turf venue. Athletes will have the opportunity to be coached by a mix of Division I college coaches and top college players. You will receive high level instruction at EVERY skill or small game station that you rotate to. Your evening coach, will be a coach who understands what it takes to play at the next level and will instruct you and your team accordingly. Sessions are intense, demanding and structured with an emphasis on advanced skills and theories. The Elite Camp is tough but we KNOW you will come away a better hockey player! TIGER CAMP (Individuals and Teams Welcome)

The Tiger Camp will have a mixture of all levels but athletes will be divided based on age and experience. The Tiger Camp is a less intense version of our Elite Camp. The pace is tailored to fit your level and abilities. Individual skill will be developed during the morning sessions, while afternoon and evening sessions will be devoted to team tactics and team building. You will receive top level instruction by coaches who are skilled at helping athletes understand the basics of the game in a way that will help you expand your range of skills over the course of the camp. You will be coached by a mix of college coaches and top Division I collegiate players who will share their passion and love for the sport with you. We know you will come away from this camp inspired for your season and with the confidence you need to make the team!

ASPIRE CAMP
Intensive, small group setting (1:8 coach to player ratio) where we help players who aspire to reach their highest potential. Training will be tailored to the individual in order to maximize our time with each athlete. We will use all methodology (video technology, demonstration, and verbal) to impart the nuances of each skill. Goalkeepers will receive specialized instruction. We recommend athletes come to this camp in top physical condition.

PRESEASON CAMP

The Preseason Camp is designed to get campers ready for the upcoming fall season. Coached exclusively by the #6 Ranked Princeton Field Hockey Team and staff members. Sessions will cover fundamental development, tactics and game playing opportunities. All skills you will need to help your team have a winning season! This year the camp will be divided into two distinct age groups, 12-14 and 13-18. You will have a chance to get to know the Princeton team and staff better and be prepared for your 2011 hockey season!

FACILITIES
The camp will be held on the Princeton University campus, one of the most beautiful and historic campuses in the world. Numerous grass fields, an Field-Turf stadium, and indoor facilities will be available throughout camp to ensure an uninterrupted week of field hockey. Campers will reside in Princeton University dormitories and dine in one of the school's dining halls. All dormitories will have adult supervision.

**Camp dorms do not have air conditioning. We recommend you bring a fan with you to camp.**

REQUIRED FORMS
Each participant is required to submit a Parental Release & Health Form at check-in. Mailed or faxed copies will not be accepted. If you are attending multiple camps, you must submit a copy at each check-in. These forms must be filled out in their entirety, including a physician's signature on the Health Form. A Sports Physical may be substituted for the Health Form provided it is dated within 12 months of the camp start date and has a physician's signature. Without these forms you will not be allowed to participate in camp.

CAMP STAFF
Each camp is run by the Princeton University Field Hockey Coaches who are on-site and provide instruction throughout the duration of camp. They may be assisted by current/former Princeton athletes as well as other coaches from around the country.

All staff members are over the age of 18 and must successfully pass a background check in order to work camp.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
All campers must provide their own equipment. Please make sure you have these items prior to your arrival as we do not have equipment to rent or borrow.

Shinguards, Mouthguard, Stick, Athletic Apparel, Cross-Training Turf Shoes (no cleats)

GOALIES: Cross-Training Turf Shoes, Leg Guards, Knickers, GK Pants, Chest Protector, Helmet, Mouthguard, Throat Protector, Stick, Pelvic Protector (recommended)
