2012 PRINCETON UNIVERSITY FENCING CAMPS

The Princeton University Fencing Camps are co-ed camps designed to offer competitors a long term investment in the sport of fencing. Come prepared for a one week intensive training program. Both camps are for all weapons.

Our highly renowned staff with Princeton's outstanding fencing facilities will provide the fencers with an excellent opportunity to develop their existing skills while being introduced new techniques that will further their understanding of the sport. FACILITIES
The camp will be held on the Princeton University campus, one of the most beautiful and historic campuses in the world. The newly renovated Fencing Center at Princeton ranks as one of the best fencing facilities in the country featuring 17 Olympic size strips with FIE calibrated scoring apparatus. Campers will reside in Princeton University dormitories and dine in one of the school's dining halls. All dormitories will have adult supervision.

**Camp dorms do not have air conditioning. We recommend you bring a fan with you to camp.**

CAMP STAFF
Each camp is run by the Princeton University Fencing Coaches who are on-site and provide instruction throughout the duration of camp. They may be assisted by current/former Princeton athletes as well as other coaches from around the country.

All staff members are over the age of 18 and must successfully pass a background check in order to work camp.

REQUIRED FORMS
Each participant is required to submit a Parental Release & Health Form at check-in. Mailed or faxed copies will not be accepted. If you are attending multiple camps, you must submit a copy at each check-in. These forms must be filled out in their entirety, including a physician's signature on the Health Form. A Sports Physical may be substituted for the Health Form provided it is dated within 12 months of the camp start date and has a physician's signature. Without these forms you will not be allowed to participate in camp.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
All campers must provide their own equipment. Please make sure you have these items prior to your arrival as we do not have equipment to rent or borrow.

Mask, Head Cord (Sabre), Fencing Jacket, Underarm Protector, 2 Electric Weapons, 2 Body Cords, Knickers, Long Socks, Chest Protector (Girls), Glove, Indoor Fencing Shoes, Electric Jacket (lame).
