2012 CO-ED ICE HOCKEY SUMMER CAMPS

DAY CAMP OVERVIEW

The 17th annual Princeton University Co-Ed Ice Hockey Camp welcomes players of all abilities; however players should be able to skate. The primary focus of this camp is FUN! Sessions will focus on developing skills such as; power skating, stick handling, shooting and passing, but more importantly, developing a LOVE for hockey. Many drills will be incorporated into games.

All on-ice and off-ice curriculum are professionally prepared and designed to elevate the play of each individual while incorporating a healthy learning environment where having fun is of the utmost importance.

Daily Activities Include:
- Minimum of 2.25 hours of ice per day.
- Dryland and cross training athletic activities instructed by a Princeton University Strength and   
  Conditioning Coach.
- Water Activities at one of Princeton University's pools.
- Hockey video sessions.
- Lunch provided in one of Princeton University's Dining Halls

FACILITIES

The camp will be held on the Princeton University campus, one of the most beautiful and historic campuses in the world. Our facilities include the Hobey Baker Memorial Rink, one of the finest skating facilities in the nation. In addition, campers will utilize Dillon Gym as well as numerous grass fields surrounding Baker Rink for dry land and cross-training sessions.

CAMP STAFF
Each camp is run by the Princeton University Boys Ice Hockey Coaches who are on-site and provide instruction throughout the duration of camp. They may be assisted by current/former Princeton athletes as well as other coaches from around the country.

All staff members are over the age of 18 and must successfully pass a background check in order to work camp.

REQUIRED FORMS
Each participant is required to submit a Parental Release & Health Form at check-in. Mailed or faxed copies will not be accepted. If you are attending multiple camps, you must submit a copy at each check-in. These forms must be filled out in their entirety, including a physician's signature on the Health Form. A Sports Physical may be substituted for the Health Form provided it is dated within 12 months of the camp start date and has a physician's signature. Without these forms you will not be allowed to participate in camp.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
All participants are required to supply their own hockey equipment as well as sneakers and swim suits for off-ice activities. Baker Rink does not have a pro shop or offer a skate sharpening service.
