ELITE CAMP - SOLD OUT!

The Princeton Field Hockey coaching staff has designed the Elite Camp for the serious athlete who has aspirations to play at the collegiate level. We will divide the athletes based on age and experience level. Individual skill will be developed during the morning sessions, while afternoon and evening sessions will be devoted to team tactics and team building. Sessions will be held on Bedford Field, the world class water-astroturf home of the 2012 National Champion Princeton Tigers, as well as the field turfs at 1952 Stadium and Plummer Field at Roberts Stadium. Athletes will have the opportunity to be coached by a mix of Division I college coaches and top collegiate players. You will receive high level instruction at EVERY skill or small game station that you rotate to. Your evening coach will be a coach who understands what it takes to play at the next level and will instruct you and your team accordingly. Sessions are intense, demanding and structured with an emphasis on advanced skills and theories. The Elite Camp is tough but we KNOW you will come away a better hockey player! The Tiger Camp will have a mixture of all levels but athletes will be divided based on age and experience. The Tiger Camp is a less intense version of our Elite Camp. The pace is tailored to fit your level and abilities. Individual skill will be developed during the morning sessions, while afternoon and evening sessions will be devoted to team tactics and team building. You will receive top level instruction by coaches who are skilled at helping athletes understand the basics of the game in a way that will help you expand your range of skills over the course of the camp. You will be coached by a mix of college coaches and top Division I collegiate players who will share their passion and love for the sport with you. We know you will come away from this camp inspired for your season and with the confidence you need to make the team!

Intensive, small group setting (1:8 coach to player ratio) where we help players who aspire to reach their highest potential. Training will be tailored to the individual in order to maximize our time with each athlete. We will use all methodology (video technology, demonstration, and verbal) to impart the nuances of each skill. Goalkeepers will receive specialized instruction.

The Preseason Camp is designed to get campers ready for the upcoming fall season. Coached exclusively by the Princeton Field Hockey NCAA National Championship team and coaching staff. Sessions will cover fundamental development, tactics and game playing opportunities. All skills you will need to help your team have a winning season! This year the camp will be divided into three distinct age groups, 10-12, 12-14 and 15-18. You will have a chance to get to know the Princeton team and staff better and be prepared for your 2013 hockey season!

Medications at camp - *New for 2013*
In accordance with N.J.A.C. 8:25-5.3(h), Princeton University will not administer medications of any type (prescription or over-the-counter) to camp participants of any age. Princeton University will not be held responsible for housing/storing medication(s). Parent(s)/Legal Guardian(s) and camp participants will be held responsible for administering and housing/storing medication(s) in a discrete place during camp.
We strongly recommend Parent(s)/Legal Guardian(s) of camp participants that have been prescribed medication(s) that are self-administered to treat potentially life-threatening conditions (ie. inhalers, EpiPen) meet with the Health Director during check-in to discuss their use.
FACILITIES
The camp will be held on the Princeton University campus, one of the most beautiful and historic campuses in the world.
Sessions will be held on Bedford Field, the world class water-astroturf home of the 2012 National Champion Princeton Tigers, as well as the field turfs at 1952 Stadium and Plummer Field at Roberts Stadium to ensure an uninterrupted week of field hockey. Campers will reside in Princeton University dormitories and dine in one of the school's dining halls. All dormitories will have adult supervision. All dormitories will have adult supervision with a minimum of a 10:1 camper to counselor ratio plus a Health Director.
**Camp dorms do not have air conditioning. We recommend you bring a fan with you to camp.**
Princeton University reserves the right to cancel, postpone or reschedule any camp or clinic because of low enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. In the unfortunate case a camp or clinic is canceled, Princeton University will issue a full refund of the fees paid. Princeton University cannot be held responsible for any related costs, charges or expenses, including but not limited to; cancellation/change fees assessed by airlines, hotels, car services or travel agencies.
