TIGER ELITE CAMPS
Session 1: June 17-21 (Ages: 14-18)
Session 2: June 22-26 (Ages: 14-18)

Day Camper (9:00am - 8:30pm) - $800.00
Overnight Camper - $875.00
Fee includes instruction, meals, room (overnight campers), camp t-shirt and lanyard.

Are you looking to significantly improve your rowing ability? Do you want to lower your erg score or make some technical changes that can win you those vital seat races next year? The Tiger Development Camp is for you. This camp is designed for the elite to novice rower or coxswain and for those who hope to continue rowing at the collegiate level and beyond. The camp curriculum is designed to improve individual technical skills and provides several training methods to improve your erg score. Topics covered will include fundamental rowing technique, the mental aspects of racing and training, and overall core strength and flexibility. A full slate of Princeton University rowing coaches as well as several visiting coaches from other top programs will be committed to helping each camper develop more capacity and become a better rower.

Do you want to know what its like to row for a nationally competitive collegiate rowing program? Do you want your high school varsity to be more competitive or get yourself prepared for rowing in college? The High-Performance Camp is for you. This camp is designed for the advanced, experienced rower or coxswain who hopes to continue rowing at the collegiate level and beyond. The camp will mimic a typical week of training at a nationally competitive program. Sessions will be intensive and there will be an emphasis on competition. Campers will be taught the finer technical points of the rowing stroke while having many racing opportunities. Topics will include rowing technique, training and physiology, and race strategy. To ensure individual attention and a high performance level only rising high school juniors, seniors and college freshmen are eligible.

8:00-8:45am - Breakfast
9:00-11:00am - Practice
11:00-12:00pm - Video Review/Rowing Tanks/Ergometers
12:00-1:00pm - Lunch
1:00-2:30pm - Free Time or Rowing Tanks/Ergometers
2:30-3:30pm - Lecture/Clinic
3:30-5:30pm - Practice
6:00-6:45pm - Dinner
7:00-8:30pm - Group Activity
8:30-10:30pm - Free Time
10:45pm - Dorm Check
11:00pm - Lights Out

FACILITIES

All camps will be held on the Princeton University campus, one of the most beautiful and historic campuses in the world. Campers will utilize the Shea Rowing Center - home of the Princeton Tigers and a training facility for the U.S. Men's and Women's National Teams. The Center includes moving water row tanks, a strength training room and ergometer room. It is located on Carnegie Lake, a protected body of water, 3 miles long with a 4 lane buoyed race course. Campers will reside in Princeton University dormitories and dine in one of the school's dining halls. All dormitories will have adult supervision. Roommate requests will be honored whenever possible, however, they are not guaranteed.

REQUIRED FORMS
Each participant is required to submit a Parental Release & Health Form at check-in. Mailed or faxed copies will not be accepted. If you are attending multiple camps, you must submit a copy at each check-in. These forms must be filled out in their entirety, including a physician's signature on the Health Form. A Sports Physical may be substituted for the Health Form provided it is dated within 12 months of the camp start date and has a physician's signature. Without these forms you will not be allowed to participate in camp.
